We're pleased to announce the launch of the Call for Papers for the Special Session entitled "National public policies for regional development in the European Union. North-South differences and similarities between Member States" to be held at 20th APDR (Portuguese Association for Regional Development) Congress 2014, University of Évora, Portugal, July 10-11
The purpose of this Special Session is the following:
Twenty-five years after the creation of the European Union cohesion policy, it is important to analyze to what extent this policy contributed to the refinement of the definition and implementation process of national public policies for spatial planning and regional development in Member States.
In this sense, this Special Session aims to contribute to this discussion, and to evaluate the extent to which EU Cohesion Policy standardized or not, the national specificities regarding the design, implementation and monitoring processes of this national public policies, and analyze differences and similarities between Member States. Is there a “South Way” to do it?
We are pleased to invite you to submit an abstract to this Special Session (deadline March 30, 2014).
